I am James Harwood. I went through the JSON output line by line and picked the signals that actually have a clean trend, a usable risk-reward ratio and a tradable event window. I am not going to pretend every pair is a trade. Some of these are traps if you chase them.
Highest-quality signals I would focus on

USDCAD long: my cleanest trend trade
This is the one I like most. Daily, 4H and 1H EMAs are all bullish. Daily RSI is 66.62, strong but not yet at the 70 overbought line. There is no divergence. Price is sitting between Fib 0.382 at 1.42613 and Fib 0.618 at 1.42391. The technical report gives a long entry at 1.42391, stop at 1.41732, target at 1.43379, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, which is normal.
The flow side backs this up. CFTC CAD net short is 90,163 contracts, up from 78,671 the prior week, a change of -11,492. Retail short ratio is 79.36% on OANDA and 84% on FX678, both above the 70% contrarian threshold. When retail is that crowded short CAD, I do not want to be short USDCAD. Scotiabank noted key levels at 1.4400, 1.4100 and 1.4000, and RSI cooled from near 80 to around 70. That fits a bullish consolidation, not a reversal.
My own take: the report says long, and I agree with the direction, but I would not chase above 1.4260. I would rather wait for a pullback into 1.42391 or even 1.42030. If US CPI on 14 October comes in hot, USD strength can push this through 1.42974. If CPI is soft, a deeper retrace to 1.42030 is possible. So scale in, do not slam the button.
XAUUSD short: valid but the stop is too tight
Gold at 4194.55. Daily EMA20 is below EMA60, 4H EMA60 is below EMA200, so the bigger picture is bearish. Daily RSI is 39.72, weak but not oversold. No divergence. ATR is 79.01, or 7900 pips. Price is only 1272 pips from the 4H high at 4207.28, which is extremely close. The technical plan is short at 4202.45, stop at 4227.45, target at 4164.95, R/R 1.50. But ATR ratio is 0.32, which is far below 1.2. That stop is too tight for gold.
The news flow is mixed. The World Gold Council reported about USD 10 billion net inflow into global physical gold ETFs in September, with holdings up 67 tonnes to 4256 tonnes, a record. Goldman Sachs keeps a year-end 4900 target. Bank of America warns of a possible drop to 3750. CFTC gold net longs fell by 9,599 to 114,820. Retail long ratio is 88%, above the 80% contrarian threshold.
My own view is different from the surface short call. I think chasing short here is risky. Price is already near 4207.28 resistance, but central bank buying and ETF inflows are a real bid underneath. The 88% retail long is a contrarian warning, but it does not mean gold must collapse. I would rather wait for the 14 October CPI. If core CPI is 0.2% or lower, gold can squeeze to 4250. If core CPI is 0.4%, then shorting toward 4120 or 4066 makes sense. Do not short gold with a 25-dollar stop.
AUDUSD short: clean technical setup, event risk ahead
AUDUSD at 0.69816. Daily and 4H are bearish, 1H is bullish. Daily RSI is 34.34, weak. No divergence. ATR is 0.00470, or 470 pips. Price is only 73 pips from the 4H high at 0.69889, which is extremely close. Fib 0.382 resistance is 0.69670. The plan is short at 0.69957, stop at 0.70498, target at 0.69146, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, normal.
Australia has two events: RBA meeting minutes on 13 October at 11:30 Beijing time, and September employment on 15 October at 08:30. Westpac expects unemployment to stay at 4.6%. RBA November hike probability is only about 24%. BofA targets 0.71, Citi targets 0.69. CFTC exact AUD net position is not found in the search results. Retail long is 59.86%, not extreme.
I like this short because the technical level is precise and the stop is wide enough. But I would reduce size before the employment data. If unemployment rises to 4.7%, AUDUSD can test 0.69536. If it beats, a squeeze back to 0.69957 is possible. The event window is the main risk.
EURUSD short: trend is strong, but divergence worries me
EURUSD at 1.12019. Daily, 4H and 1H are all bearish. Daily RSI is 25.37, oversold. There is bottom divergence: price made a new low but RSI did not. ATR is 0.00656, or 655 pips. Price is 740 pips from the 4H high at 1.12760 and 381 pips from the 4H low at 1.11638. Fib 0.382 resistance is 1.12331, Fib 0.618 is 1.12067. The plan is short at 1.12067, stop at 1.12821, target at 1.10936, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, normal.
The macro side is bearish EUR: French political and fiscal risk, Citi cut its 3-month target to 1.135, Morgan Stanley targets 1.10. CFTC EUR net short is 99,332 contracts. Retail long is 59.27%, not extreme. UOB noted that if 1.1265 resistance holds, EURUSD can test 1.1145.
My own view is different from the pure short call. With RSI at 25.37 and bottom divergence, I do not want to chase short at 1.12067. I would rather sell a bounce into 1.12331, or wait for a break below 1.11638. The risk of a short squeeze is real.
GBPUSD short: Fib and EMA overlap, but divergence is a warning
GBPUSD at 1.32293. Daily and 4H are bearish, 1H is bullish. Daily RSI is 38.45, weak. Bottom divergence is present. ATR is 0.00716, or 716 pips. Price is 556 pips from the 4H high at 1.32849 and 458 pips from the 4H low at 1.31834. Fib 0.382 at 1.32461 overlaps with EMA60 at 1.32444, which strengthens that resistance zone. The plan is short at 1.32461, stop at 1.33284, target at 1.31227, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, normal.
UK August GDP is due on 16 October. Jinwu Finance noted 1.3285 as a confluence resistance and 1.3180 as range support. CFTC GBP net short is 97,611. Retail long is 68.23%, close to but not above the 70% threshold.
I would treat this as a sell-the-bounce trade, not a breakout short. The bottom divergence means downside momentum is weakening. If GDP beats, GBPUSD can squeeze toward 1.3285. I would keep the stop at 1.33284 and not add.
NZDUSD short: oversold plus bottom divergence, do not chase
NZDUSD at 0.56089. Daily and 4H are bearish, 1H is bullish. Daily RSI is 29.35, oversold. Bottom divergence is present. ATR is 0.00422, or 422 pips. Price is 182 pips from the 4H high at 0.56271 and 285 pips from the 4H low at 0.55804. Fib 0.382 is 0.56093. The plan is short at 0.56093, stop at 0.56578, target at 0.55365, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, normal.
FXCMHub noted resistance at 0.5626 and support at 0.5555, the lower Bollinger band. RBNZ October hike probability fell to 58%. BofA targets 0.59, Citi targets 0.58. CFTC exact NZD net position is not found. Retail long is 80.14% on OANDA and 97% on FX678, above the 70% contrarian threshold.
My own view is different from the surface short call. With RSI at 29.35 and bottom divergence, I would not chase short at 0.56093. The retail long extreme is a contrarian signal, but it can also mean a violent bounce. I would rather wait for a rally into 0.56271, or a clean break below 0.55804.
USDCHF long: trend is up, but top divergence caps upside
USDCHF at 0.82991. Daily and 4H are bullish, 1H is bearish. Daily RSI is 62.78, strong. Top divergence is present. ATR is 0.00523, or 523 pips. Price is only 25 pips from the 4H low at 0.82966, which is extremely close. Fib 0.618 support is 0.83152. The plan is long at 0.82834, stop at 0.82233, target at 0.83736, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.15, normal.
Investinglive noted resistance at 0.83415 and support at 0.82971. CFTC CHF net short is 23,740. Retail long is 80.88%, above the 70% contrarian threshold. No clear institutional view was found.
I would take the long only near 0.82834, not here. The top divergence warns that upside momentum is fading. If CPI is hot, USDCHF can push to 0.83454. If CPI is soft, a break below 0.82966 opens 0.82233.
EURGBP short: trend is strong, but ATR ratio is too tight
EURGBP at 0.84572. Daily, 4H and 1H are all bearish. Daily RSI is 26.04, oversold. No divergence. ATR is 0.00291, or 291 pips. Price is 349 pips from the 4H high at 0.84922 and 104 pips from the 4H low at 0.84467. Fib 0.618 resistance is 0.84641. The plan is short at 0.84641, stop at 0.84942, target at 0.84190, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 1.03, below 1.2. Stop is narrow.
FxPro noted a reversal from key support at 0.8460, with a target at 0.8500. CFTC has no independent cross report. Retail short is 60.04%, not extreme. No institutional view found.
My own view is different from the short call. RSI is deeply oversold and ATR ratio is only 1.03. I would not short here. I would wait for a bounce into 0.84748 or 0.84922, or skip the trade entirely until the stop can be widened.
BTCUSD long: the report says long, but the flow says be careful
BTCUSD at 82974.05. Daily, 4H and 1H are all bullish, but trend strength is weak. Daily RSI is 52.10, strong. No divergence. ATR is 1982.87, or 198287 pips. Price is 53389 pips from the 4H high at 83507.95 and 260010 pips from the 4H low at 80373.95. Fib 0.382 support is 82310.76. The plan is long at 82815.42, stop at 81675.27, target at 84525.65, R/R 1.50. ATR ratio is 0.58, below 1.2. Stop is too tight.
Bitwise Europe’s Luke Deans said 83,000 is the ETF investor average cost basis and a key threshold. Prediction market Myriad shows 67% probability BTC falls below 80,000 in October. CFTC BTC net long is only 2,540 contracts. CME leverage fund shorts are 2.2 times longs. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw USD 484.9 million net outflow, the largest since 25 June. No clear institutional view was found.
My own view is different from the surface long call. I think the flow is against BTC here. ETF outflows, CME shorts at 2.2x, and the 83,000 cost basis make me cautious. If 83,000 fails, 80,000 and 77,000 are the next zones. I would not chase long at 82815. I would wait for a reclaim of 83507 or a flush into 80373.
USDJPY: wait
USDJPY at 158.262. Daily is bearish, 4H and 1H are bullish. Daily RSI is 52.82, strong. Top divergence is present. ATR is 1.057, or 1057 pips. Price is 239 pips from the 4H high at 158.501 and 748 pips from the 4H low at 157.513. No entry, no stop, no target from the technical report. BOJ October hold probability is about 88%, December hike probability about 90%. Morgan Stanley targets 163, BofA targets 149. CFTC JPY net long is 62,325. Retail long is 54.83%, below the 75% threshold. I stay flat.
